mobile vr
For my VR Nanodegree class at Udacity, I created a simple mobile virtual exhibition using Google VR, focused on demonstrating the impact of VR on the health industry. This interactive exhibit allows users to explore different stalls, each presenting an animation and a video about various aspects of VR’s influence on healthcare.
Development and Implementation
- Platform and Tools:
- Developed using Unity and Google VR to create an accessible mobile VR experience.
- Exhibition Design:
- Designed an exhibition area with multiple stalls that users can navigate to.
- Each stall features an animation and a video explaining a specific way VR can benefit the health industry.
- User Interaction:
- Implemented movement controls allowing users to roam freely within the virtual exhibition space.
- Integrated interactive elements that play animations and videos when the user approaches each stall.
Learning and Outcome
This project allowed me to apply VR development skills learned during the VR Nanodegree program. It also provided a practical demonstration of VR’s potential applications in healthcare, highlighting the technology’s transformative impact on the industry.
